Due to our continued success, we are seeking Field Service Technicians to join our team, in this position you will play a key role through visiting our customers and servicing, repairing or installing large industrial machines in heavy industrial environments and ensuring a successful customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:


Service our complete line of industrial printing and labelling equipment and diagnose customers' errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions with technical support either directly or over the phone customer support.

To become proficient in working with various pieces of equipment sold by Samuel

Coding & Labeling.


Responsible for efficiently learning and retaining all technical related knowledge pertaining to the equipment, projects, or services as set forth by supervision.

Be actively participate in the advancement of products and programs within the company.


To work directly with the Senior Technicians and Sales team on projects, demonstrations, trials, and other market related task as assigned by supervision.


Demonstrate, install equipment and train customers on the safe operation of such equipment and maintain proper records/logs of repairs and maintenance schedules.

Maintain and follow paperwork guidelines asset for by Management.

Manage travel schedule to minimize company costs.

To become proficient in developing internal and customer relationships

Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with recommended schedules.

Professional attire and behavior in representing Samuel Packaging.


Skills / Experience /

Education Requirements:

Minimum Associates Degree in related Engineering field and/or technical school equivalent. Other training and experience may be considered in certain situations.

Prior experience in automation controls or similar experience.

Mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Knowledge of pneumatic controls.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.

Must maintain a willingness to learn and participate in a heavily focused training environment.

Ability to become efficient in interpreting blueprints, electrical, and pneumatic schematics

Specialized education or experience related to equipment maintenance is preferred

Must demonstrate an ability to handle stressful and challenging situations manner

Demonstrate acceptable judgment and decision skills required

Good communication skills both verbal and written required

Self-motivated individual that can work well with others or with little or no supervision required

Must be detail oriented and reliable to maintain customer equipment


Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

May require working weekends, Holidays and overtime as needed

Requires availability for travel on short notice

Must be able to travel to the US

Must be able to travel up to 80%. Typical travel is 65%-70%

Must be able to work in varies work conditions such as extreme temperatures, hot and cold

Must be able to work safely around automated equipment with little to no supervision while following all company and customer safety policies
