Description

Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world's largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Handover Coordinator to join its dynamic and energetic team.

Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the subcontractor quality and commissioning records, certificates, completion certificates, and documentation are created and compiled in compliance with the project specifications
Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turnover and handover area/system
Collaborate with the project team to conclude the handover documentation
Resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone, quality and commissioning documentation.
Provide turnover and handover progress information and reports as required
Consider the implications of delays in documentation and bring to the attention of the project team
Examine events, issues, and problems to generate optimal solutions in a timely manner

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar handover role
Experience in large civil infrastructure project
Experience on LRT/Rail projects is preferred
Ability to work with shifting priorities and rapid change
Motivated and goaloriented
Highly organized and detailoriented
Must have a valid G Driver's license in good standing
Flexibility to work some nights, overtime and weekends
