    AIMCo'sMortgage Investments team provides exposure to domestic and international real estate through direct holdings and fund investments diversified across property types and geography.

    As the successful Analyst,you will learn about the functions of a high performing mortgage investment team.

    Playing an important role, you will leverage your strong technical skills and support the mortgage investments team in their investment analytics and financial analysis.

    You will assist in updates to the loan management and deal pipeline systems. You will also be coached and developed to gain a working knowledge of the foreign and Canadian commercial mortgageportfolios. Monitoring the performance of existing investmentsand developing models and tools for conducting such ana l yses
    Drafting and creating mortgage portfolio presentations for int e rnal and external stakeholders
    Assisting with the financial ana l ysis and other due diligence with respect to potential investments
    Bachelor's degree in Commerce , Business, Finance, Computer Science or another related field
    1+ years of work experience in investment banking, investment m ana gement, lending, real estate, pension plans, etc. Int e rnships and co-op programs will be considered experience
    Experience working in and/or knowledge of commercial r eal e state would be considered an asset
    Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, business concepts and programming Highly proficient with MS Applications including VBA, Excel, PowerPo int , Word and Outlook

    The successful candidate will contribute to this position by providing time-sensitive investment research and analysis to the Mortgage Investment Team in Toronto and Edmonton.

    Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening, which includes a credit bureau and a criminal record investigation, the results of which must be acceptable to AIMCo.
