With headquarters in Asia, the company handles over 10 million metric tons of food and Agri-commodities annually, generating revenues exceeding 3 billion USD.
In Canada and the US, our facilities process thousand metric tons of specialty products like peas, lentils, and chickpeas each year.
As the Grain Trader - Specialty Products, you will spearhead marketing efforts for our client's specialty products in the Canadian and US markets.
This encompasses peas, lentils, and chickpeas processed within our North American facilities, along with pea protein and starch produced at our fractionation plant in Canada.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in marketing these products in North America, a comprehensive understanding of the products, and established relationships with North American food manufacturers.
Occasional travel within North America for crucial trade shows and customer visits will be required.Develop and execute a sales strategy for each key product, consistently meeting targets and monitoring progress on a per-customer basis.
Manage existing customer accounts, maintaining regular communication, overseeing sales contracts and timely product delivery, and addressing any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure accurate costing for all sales transactions, considering factors such as financing, logistics, and competitive market offers.Access and analyze sales and market data to identify opportunities for growth and product positioning.
Strong relationships with potential customers, particularly in the US food market.

~ Understanding of marketing principles and product positioning.
~ University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
