- Mental Health Assessment course is preferred
- RPNAO membership is preferred
- Proficient computer skills

The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments and engaging in the various treatment modalities provided in this acute, active Inpatient Mental Health Unit which is a Schedule 1 facility. As a Nurse in this progressive interprofessional environment, you will utilize your skills in assessment and supportive counseling with a diverse patient population. You will enjoy many opportunities to contribute to our patient/family centered approach to care, to participate in initiatives designed to continually improve the quality of care and to ensure the patient's stay is a therapeutic experience.
