    Job Description

    The House of Commons Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Analyst, Reporting and Data Analytics Cloud Financial Management position.

    Join our team as the Analyst, Reporting and Data Analytics for Cloud Financial Management In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on House of Commons cloud expenses. You will develop and maintain detailed financial models to track cloud spending, regularly reviewing cloud infrastructure costs to identify areas for optimization. Collaborating with IT product lines, you will forecast cloud expenses and create annual budgets. Additionally, you will conduct assessments, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations to evaluate the effectiveness of cloud financial management practices and compliance with established policies, procedures, and controls. You will also participate in creating chargeback and showback reports.

    • Qualifications

    Education :

  • Completion of college or university degree and or diploma in information technology, finance, accounting, administration and or related field or an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

    • Experience :

  • Generating, analysing, and interpreting financial data;
  • Conducting and/or directing the review of financial transactions;
  • Preparing financial reports, identifying trends, and providing financial advisory service;
  • Applying accounting principles and practices, including financial and/or accounting policies and best practices
  • Reviewing, identifying, and resolving financial transactions issues;
  • Proficiency in cost management;
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel.
