We are looking forProject Coordinators with an interest or experience in retail display, tradeshow and/or specialty construction/fabrication.
This role will be hands-on position working out of our Toronto office.
The work is as varied as you will support our Project Manager team with budgeting, scheduling, planning, and shipping logistics of our Projects.
As a Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to, the following:Responsibilities:
- Working in partnership with the Project Management team to ensure that the project needs, and requirements of the client are determined and executed.
- Support the Project Managers in the completion of the project lifecycle, from the approved design, to fabrication, and shipping, to the completed installation.
- Prepare and report on costs for projects.
- Support the Project Managers in the communication with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all required material for the successful execution of a project has been ordered.
- Support the Project Managers by tracking project costs throughout the project and prepares postproject reports.
- Travel for onsite supervision, installation, and supplier/vendor management as required.
Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge of fabrication, millwork and interior building materials
- Knowledge of scheduling software (Team Gantt, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Knowledge of MS Office software.
- Knowledge of graphics and largeformat print production
- Knowledge of crating and packaging and shipping logistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Fluent in English verbal and written
- Skilled in time management
