Job Overview:


Reporting to the Marketing, Communications & Membership Director, Communications Specialist will provide support and assistance to the Director and department heads in marketing to prospective members and communicating with members.

Specific duties would include, but are not limited to:
***- Works with department heads to regularly update content on the website to ensure it is current, relevant, and meets the information needs of Members.

  • Creates marketing materials such as posters, and flyers to promote Club and departmental events.
  • Collects and edits magazine materials in a timely manner.
  • Assists with the coordination of digital and print marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate other marketing and communications projects as required.
  • Categories and stores Club pictures and other media in an organized and easily accessible manner.

Job Qualifications:


  • Relevant postsecondary education with a focus on graphic design, web management, social media
  • 2+ years of related marketing and communications experience
  • Website maintenance experience: coding knowledge preferred.
  • Dynamic and creative writing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer service focus; professional presentation
  • Proven track record in handling simultaneous projects from conception through to completion; adherence to deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, with the potential to work from home on occasion.
