Description

Purpose:


Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Assistant supports the implementation of marketing campaigns via content development and general operational functions.


Education:

University degree in Business, Marketing or other related field.


Experience:

One-year related experience in marketing, design, and photography.


Skills:

Ability to creatively write content to engage an intended audience.
Effective researching skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to deal courteously and effectively with people.
Effective organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy


Technical skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or PowerPoint.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social, digital media platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta or Twitter, and Zoom teleconferencing.

Proficient in using a digital Single-lens reflex camera
Knowledge of Salesforce client relationship management software.
