- Coordinate and supervise cross-functional ESG data collection with various organizational stakeholders.
- Engage closely with different departments to grasp their specific ESG-related goals and needs.
- Assist departments in identifying relevant ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that support the company's overall sustainability targets.
- Curate a repository of best practices, data, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all ESG sectors.
- Utilize Power BI for ESG data analysis:
- Create reports and dashboards to visualize ESG data and trends for informed decision-making.
- Share findings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with all departments and partners to implement top-tier ESG practices and action plans aligned with Lactalis Canada's mission and the broader CSR/ESG objectives of Lactalis Group.
- Assist in developing ESG strategies for packaging, waste, transport, carbon reduction, emissions, animal welfare, and energy for all business units, in harmony with Lactalis Canada and Lactalis Group's global CSR strategy.
- Conduct thorough research on ESG trends, topics, and best practices on a global scale and within Canada.
- Effectively communicate the organization's ESG strategies, policies, and performance internally and to external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the content, design, and production of the Annual ESG Report.
- Partner with internal teams such as Industrial, Supply Chain, Transportation, Packaging, Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Communications, and Human Resources to gather ESG data and offer support for strategy formulation.
- Develop presentations, reports, content drafts, and other materials to convey analyses and recommendations to key audiences.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations and meet evolving stakeholder expectations in the sustainability realm.
- Establish systems and processes for tracking ESG data and reporting as required by external entities.
- Address customer and client surveys and inquiries concerning Lactalis Canada's ESG efforts.
- Facilitate data collection and verification for external ESG audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and accurate audit responses.

About the opportunity:
Responsible for supporting the organization's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, focusing on analyzing ESG data and ensuring effective data management and governance for ESG reporting.
Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to align ESG insights, data, and reporting with the ESG strategy. Additionally, contributes to defining and achieving key objectives, metrics, and performance indicators.

What you will bring:
University degree/College Diploma in sustainability or a relevant business field
Previous experience in an ESG-related capacity
Familiarity with the evolving ESG and sustainability reporting regulatory landscape, including global standards (ISSB) and regulatory frameworks (CSRD)
Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and audits (e.g., SEDEX SMETA, EcoVadis)
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in standard office technologies such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong skills in Power BI and Excel, with over 2 years of experience in BI/Analytics solutions
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for successful interaction at all organizational levels
Capacity to collaborate across the company to synthesize ideas and information into actionable insights and plans.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
5 years of experience in ESG, preferably within the CPG industry
