Brief Description of the Position:

The
Dock & Door
Service Technicianwill serve a vital role which includes, but is not limited to the installation and repair of loading dock and door equipment, performance of Preventative Maintenance (PMP) and completing PMP sheets, work on parts requirements and scheduling, picking up and delivering equipment/parts from various manufacturers/suppliers to the customer site, and other duties as assigned by the service manager.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience with repair and installation of docks and doors
:

Must possess a current valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Must be able to read and write legibly and accurately.
Must be mechanically inclined, have the ability to weld and use a cutting torch.
Electrical knowledge is an asset
Must be customerfocused with strong communication skills.
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Installation, diagnosis, repair, and replacement of equipment (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical).
Completion of all forms and paperwork in a timely and appropriate fashion.
Keep truck clean and operational at all times. Utilize the helpers to ensure that the service truck is organized and clean, inside and outside.
Maintain adequate levels of stock of required parts on your truck (identify and report when quantities are low and you require reordering.
Put away items returned to the warehouse.
Properly dispose of materials removed from customer sites.
Constantly improve on product knowledge to better service our Customer.
Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings.

Pay:
$18.30-$37.14 per hour
