As A Tanker Driver, You Will:

Transportation of chloride products or liquid asphalt to destinations throughout Ontario
Ensure time sensitive deliveries to plants, crews and customers
Loading and unloading of product to destination
Liaise with customers in a professional manner, and provide exceptional onsite service
Communicate with Dispatch Supervisor daily to receive delivery information
Perform pre and posttrip inspections of equipment to ensure cleanliness and condition meet Miller and MTO standards and regulations
Completion of all relevant documentation
Maintain Hours of Service compliance and logbooks/E-Logs
Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

Minimum 5 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required
Liquid handling experience, an asset
Previous experience with electronic logbooks (E-Log), considered an asset
Valid Driver's License, Class A with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Ability to work Safely and follow all safety regulations
Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract
Must be a highly productive team member
Effective communication (written & verbal) and customer service skills
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to perform manual labour, lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.) and pull 100 feet of hose
Ability to sit, stand or drive for extended periods
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Punctual and Reliable
Comfortable working at heights
Willingness to work extended hours, nights and weekends as required
Ability and willingness to work out of town for extended periods of time, as required
