As A Tanker Driver, You Will:
- Transportation of chloride products or liquid asphalt to destinations throughout Ontario
- Ensure time sensitive deliveries to plants, crews and customers
- Loading and unloading of product to destination
- Liaise with customers in a professional manner, and provide exceptional onsite service
- Communicate with Dispatch Supervisor daily to receive delivery information
- Perform pre and posttrip inspections of equipment to ensure cleanliness and condition meet Miller and MTO standards and regulations
- Completion of all relevant documentation
- Maintain Hours of Service compliance and logbooks/E-Logs
- Other duties as required
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required
- Liquid handling experience, an asset
- Previous experience with electronic logbooks (E-Log), considered an asset
- Valid Driver's License, Class A with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Ability to work Safely and follow all safety regulations
- Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract
- Must be a highly productive team member
- Effective communication (written & verbal) and customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to perform manual labour, lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.) and pull 100 feet of hose
- Ability to sit, stand or drive for extended periods
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Punctual and Reliable
- Comfortable working at heights
- Willingness to work extended hours, nights and weekends as required
- Ability and willingness to work out of town for extended periods of time, as required
