    iGaming Ontario leads the Province of Ontario's new, dynamic, internet gaming (igaming) market that, in its second year generated $63 billion in total wagers, a 78% increase over its first year.

    This resulted in $2.4 billion in total gaming revenue from over 45 gaming operators and over 1.6 million active player accounts.

    Even more, in its first year Ontario's igaming market is estimated to have sustained more than 12,000 full-time equivalent jobs across the province.

    To achieve these results, iGaming Ontario is guided by its vision to Lead the World's Best Gaming Market .
    iGaming Ontario is seeking an Azure Cloud Developer to join its dynamic team.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Solutions Support, will design, develop, implement and support system integrations using REST/GraphQL API as well as building systems extensions and micro-services in our cloud Azure infrastructure.

    Responsibilities in the role include:
    Translating complex business requirements into simple and functional micro-services.
    Providing technical input, assessment, and realistic estimates to project team for planning, risk analysis, schedule, and change management.
    Assisting in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
    Developing cloud applications in Azure using .NET and AL languages.
    Developing and maintaining REST API integrations.
    Monitoring and evaluating application performance and reliability.
    Managing and deploying code using Azure DevOps.
    Acting as a subject matter expertise and providing technical support for procured business solutions.
    Conducting Technical Feasibility.
    Developing required artifacts for application, database designs and development plan.
    Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications.
    Ensuring bugs are rectified and accurate moving forward.
    Identifying system and design deficiencies and recommend solutions.
    Providing quality documentation throughout the project.
    The ideal candidate will have:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
    Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
    Working knowledge with Azure technologies such as:
    Azure Data Factory
    Azure Blob Storage
    Azure SQL Database
    Azure KeyVault
    Azure DevpOps

    Experience developing Azure App Services and REST APIs using Microsoft .NET.
    Experience working with Azure Active Directory and Auth0 authentication platform.
    Previous exposure and familiarity with Power BI.
    Experience working with Visual Studio IDE.

    Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Developer Associate would be an asset.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
    Demonstrated capacity for problem solving, synthesis, and making sound recommendations.

    The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.

    This position currently offers a hybrid work location. iGaming Ontario is implementing a minimum three-day per week in-office schedule. iGaming Ontario reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

    This position falls within the scope of a bargaining unit represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU).

    In the upcoming months, iGaming Ontario and OPSEU will be negotiating the terms of a collective agreement which, once concluded, will govern the terms and conditions of this position.
