Our client:
A leading technology company operating across North America, offering a suite of fundraising, donor management, financial tracking, and communications software to impact-driven organizations.
Our client is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Account Executive to bring on new customers by connecting with nonprofit organizations, understanding their challenges, and demonstrating how their technology creates real impact. This is a full-cycle sales role with a strong emphasis on consultative selling, product demonstration, and relationship development.
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations, clearly articulating the value of the platform to diverse nonprofit audiences.
- Manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to drive satisfaction, expansion, and retention.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Services teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client outcomes.
- Track and report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Use CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions accurately.
- Contribute to regular sales meetings by sharing progress, market insights, and challenges.
Qualifications and pre-requisites:
- 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within SaaS.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas while managing a full sales cycle.
- Strong grasp of consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical buyers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) and modern sales engagement platforms.
- Experience selling into nonprofits or mission-driven organizations is an asset.
