Position Description:
- Thoroughly understand and comply with Health and Safety, Quality Management Systems and Company policies.
- Experience in hydraulics an asset.
- Must be technically strong in new and existing equipment.
- Expert use in large overhead cranes/slinging and forklifts.
- Inspecting and testing equipment, diagnosing faults and malfunctions, repairing and replacing mechanical units, test and adjust units to specifications
- Troubleshoot machinery, hydraulics, valves, electrical systems, gear boxes and pumps
- Must have strong blue print reading skills, in order to assemble and repair parts
- To be able to multi task and assist with other roles when required.
- Ensuring tests and procedures are properly executed, carried out and evaluated.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- This role requires travel both international and domestic up to 70% of the time.
- A current passport and the ability to travel without restrictions.
- If not certified a minimum of five years experience in machine assembly and or service technician functions.
- Basic Computer Skills MS Office, Google Workspace, Internet etc.
- 57 Years' experience in a Manufacturing/ Automotive / Aerospace/ Rail
- Certification in Fluid Power is an asset
- Able to lift a minimum 40lbs.
- Open and flexible schedule, able to work overtime hours

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Millwright: 5 years (preferred)
- Machine building: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Millwright Ticket (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (required)
