- Provide leadership and mentoring to the culinary operation
- Supervise culinary team members, assign work schedules, and approve timesheets
- Direct preparation and presentation of menu items according to recipes
- Maintain budgeted labor and food costs
- Assist in developing new food items and standard procedures
- Train team members in culinary techniques
- Review inventory reports and conduct inventory counts
- Communicate effectively with all departments and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Perform additional assigned duties
- High School Diploma; Culinary Management education or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of culinary leadership experience
- Red Seal certification or enrollment in the program is beneficial
- Food Safety Certification Level 2, MSDS, WHMIS, Responsible Liquor Service
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
- Regular kitchen environment, long periods of standing and walking, non-traditional work hours
