    Financial Controller, Trust

    We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Trust business in Guernsey (BTGL).

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial reports.
  • Managing our billing process.
  • Assisting in the control the debtors.
  • Maintaining accounting records.
  • Preparing the annual financial budget.
  • Liaising with auditors to facilitate their work and requirements.
  • Problem solving accounting queries.
  • Special projects, as required.

    • Your qualifications and skills include:

  • Strong knowledge of computerised systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Good communication, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment of Guernsey.
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet platforms, ability to prepare spreadsheets efficiently and accurately.
  • Understanding of accruals and prepayment concepts.
  • Ledger skills.
  • Standard reconciliation skills.
