- Create new resident profiles.
- Complete batch and routine billing activities.
- Complete new prescription and changes to medication entry.
- Complete continuation of therapy prescription entry.
- As required – travel to pharmacies to complete non-regulated pharmacy activities.
- These may vary from province to province based on College requirements but include: prescription labeling, support for repackaging processes, data entry, supporting phone calls.
- Support with other activities as designated.
- Support with pharmacy specific and regional projects in a non-regulated capacity.
- Activities include data entry, updating files, pharmacy management software data quality or support for data entry process changes requiring updates to resident profiles.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant data entry position using Kroll.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long term pharmacy in data entry positions using Kroll.
- Experience in working with long term care and assisted living clientele
- Excellent communication, data entry and calculation skills
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized
- Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision

Position Summary
The pharmacy operations pharmacy assistant role will provide a key supportive role to pharmacy locations in British Columbia and across Western Canada when needed. The Pharmacy Assistant is a non-regulated staff that has advanced understanding of Kroll, long term care and pharmacy data entry practises. This role will be supporting with key billing and administrative compliance activities supporting different pharmacies in BC.
Compensation: $ $24.00 / hour
Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience for the role with CareRx.
