Description

Mattamy Athletic Centre is currently seeking a part-time Box Office Supervisor. The Mattamy Athletic Centre is owned by Toronto Metropolitan University, and managed by OVG 360.

It is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, and consists of a fitness centre, a basketball court, a 2,500-seat arena, multiple meeting rooms, and houses the offices of Toronto Metropolitan University's Athletic Department and teams.

Reporting to the Box Office Manager, the supervisor will oversee event day Box Office operations providing customer service as well as assisting with event builds, managing accounts and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Oversee Box Office operations and supervise ticket sellers on event days
Retain knowledge of venue seating charts, event ticket information (pricing, discounts, restrictions), and ticket policies
Process ticket sales including accessible seating, group orders and internal ticket requests as needed
Assist Box Office Manager with the event build process and event reporting
Maintain season ticket holder accounts
Provide customer service and troubleshoot technical issues as required
Additional duties as assigned by Box Office Manager

Qualifications

Secondary School diploma
Minimum one year of related Box Office experience and customer service experience
Strong knowledge of Ticketmaster Host and TM1 systems
Previous experience in a supervisory role an asset
Strong management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, customers and staff
Ability to work beyond regular business hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
