As a Marketing & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team of professionals who are involved in the sales and marketing activities of the company.

You will also be responsible for tracking market developments, creating strategies, setting up sales plans, and maintaining customer relations.

Rawley Resort is located in Port Severn, Gateway to Muskoka - only 30 minutes from Orillia


Responsibilities:


  • Lead team as required and assigned from time to time
  • Hire, train and lead the marketing and sales divisions
  • Develop and maintain the annual marketing budget, P&L, sales forecasting and revenue management
  • Develop and establish KPIs, track and compile date and provide reporting on sales and marketing
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate multichannel marketing and sales strategies for direct and digital campaigns that drive occupancy and revenue streams for lodging, spa, dining, wedding, corporate, and special events
  • Ensure the Rawley brand is cohesive across all platforms, including OTAs
  • Work actively and closely with resort management to execute the onsite execution of marketing and sales programs to elevate the guest experience and increase occupancy/revenue
  • Manage revenue and occupancy management, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies
  • Develop, execute, and maintain outside and internal sales programs
  • Generate, nurture, and convert lodging, spa, dining, wedding corporate, and special event leads
  • Lead marketing, sales, and occupancy meetings with the Resort Director
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and manage all partnerships
  • Direct and manage content and collateral creation
  • Establish and cultivate successful relationships with local, regional partners and vendors, and develop comarketing or sales programs
  • Develop, plan, and execute special events, popups, partnered events, and other events as required
  • Responsible for all onsite sales
  • Other special projects as required, with additional tasks and roles as it may be assigned from timeto time by management, related with resort wellness programs
  • Providing support to other departments using your expertise
  • Lead client package event creation including arts and crafts programs
  • Collateral preparation as required
  • Manage contractors required for executing outside marketing tasks, such as PR and others as it may be assigned or required
  • Assist with event execution
  • All other duties assigned
