We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant/CSR Team Lead
to work at our Hamilton location (41 Brockley Drive).

SCHEDULE
Must be available to work rotating shifts: days/evenings/weekends, between the hours of 8am-9pm.

**Approximately one weekend every 4-6 weeks, including stat holidays on rotation.


BASIC FUNCTION


The Pharmacy Assistant-CSR Team Lead is responsible for all administrative duties related to the scheduling and dispensing of medications and IV and Medical Supplies.

The Pharmacy Assistant-CSR Team Lead communicates with doctors, nurses, LHINs and clients to ensure adequate quantities of medication and supplies are dispensed at the times necessary for continued patient care as well as internal customers.

The Pharmacy Assistant-CSR Team Lead coordinates relevant information with the pharmacist, shipping, warehouse and finance departments regarding medication and supply dispensing and appropriate billing.

The Pharmacy Assistant-CSR Team Lead ensures adequate staff coverage in PA/CSR and Order Entry departments to meet needs of the LHIN.


The Pharmacy Assistant-CSR Team Lead plays a pivotal role in the co-ordination of internal and external communications to ensure patient medications and supplies are provided on a timely basis.

This includes continued monitoring of medication use, patient eligibility, and billing accuracy.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pharmacy Assistant Diploma/Certificate and 23 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification from OCP an asset
  • Previous experience/knowledge of IV and medical supplies components
  • Intermediate computer skills required, MS Office
  • To meet business requirements and as business dictates, this position requires shift work on a rotational basis. Must be flexible and adaptable to meet the departmental scheduling needs and changes of responsibility reflective of the business needs
