    Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) is one of the world's largest travel retailers and corporate travel managers.

    The company, which is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia has company-owned leisure and corporate travel business in 23 countries, spanning Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Europe, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Asia.

    FCTG also operates a global corporate travel management network, which extends to more than 90 countries through company-owned businesses and independent licensees.

    The company opened its first leisure travel shop in Sydney, Australia in 1982 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 1995.

    We have recently completed rebuilding our 15+ year legacy Salesforce instance.

    The business processes we enable in our Salesforce are end to end as we cover Marketing, Sales, Implementations, Account Management, Operations, and Support.

    Salesforce Design and

    Development Oversight:
    Work with Solution Architects and Development team to provide end-to-end oversight, guidance, and governance (framework, tools, approach, strategy, optimization, and security)

    Salesforce Development:
    utilize your expertise to design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.

    You will collaborate with stakeholders, such as Business Analysts and Product Managers, to translate functional specifications into technical design documents.


    Transformation Projects:
    Participate actively in transformational projects aimed at improving processes and optimizing Salesforce capabilities. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): demonstrate your understanding of the SDLC by following best practices throughout the development process. You will be responsible for code versioning, code reviews, and ensuring the quality and security of all Salesforce development.

    Manage
    DevOps:
    leverage your DevOps experience to integrate and manage Salesforce deployments within the broader technology ecosystem. You will work with the Development team to streamline deployment processes, automate workflows, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.

    System Integration:

    collaborate with other development teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.


    Technical Support:
    provide L3 technical support to our L1/L2 support team for more complex issues.

    Documentation:
    maintain detailed documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient project management.

    Stay Updated:

    keep up to date on the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices to proactively recommend improvements and innovative solutions .

    Bachelor's degree in related field is desirable
    Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
    Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
    Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

    Extensive Experience:
    minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with focus on customizations and complex projects.

    Transformation Projects:
    demonstrated experience in working on transformational projects, leading technical initiatives, and driving positive change within Salesforce implementations.


    SDLC:
    in-depth knowing of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile methodology.

    DevOps:
    familiarity with DevOps principles, tools, best practices for continuous integration and delivery.

    Integration Experience:
    solid understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies such as REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms.

    Travel Industry Experience:
    familiarity with the travel industry will be considered an asset.

    Technical Skills:
    proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce API's. Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
    Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide level 3 support
