    Senior Accountant, Finance - Brokerage Accounting (hybrid)

    We're looking for our next Senior Accountant .

    Thepurpose of the Senior Accountant is to provide support to the Senior Manager, Finance - Brokerage Accounting in QFG's financial reporting.

    What's it like working as an Senior Accountant at Questrade?

    The Senior Accountant works under the direction of the Senior Manager, Finance - Brokerage Accounting in providing support for the preparation of financial reporting for Questrade Inc's business.

    Preparation and analysis of month over month change in activity in the back office client ledger
    Preparation of bank interest revenue accrual and reconciliation
    Preparation of the Nostro account reconciliation
    Participation in various finance projects such as Blackline implementation
    Reviewing the work of a team of junior staff and providing guidance in resolving issues
    Assisting with ad-hoc projects within the Finance team
    Assisting with training and coaching junior staff
    Assisting with year-end audit requests
    So are YOU our next Senior Accountant ? Hold a Post-secondary degree / diploma in a related field
    Have 3-5 years' full cycle accounting and financial reporting experience at a CIRO member firm
    Have advanced MS Excel, NetSuite, Google Workspace, SQL, Broadridge BPS, PostEdge skills
    Have excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing
