    Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Clerk/Cashier at our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Big River, SK.

    Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
  • Provide Legendary in-store service; serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties
  • Ensure safety is held as the highest priority
  • Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a neat, clean and orderly location at all times
  • Have a good working understanding of the point-of-sale system
  • Order, receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader
  • Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports
  • Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

  • You're attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
  • You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
  • You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
  • You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
