Cory Galbraith. Another Real Writer In The 60 Watt Spotlight Of Five Easy Pieces.

Cory Galbraith is one of the philosopher kings of Canada. Canada is a land that is rich in intelligence, mainly because we have the example of the US to look at and learn from. And Lord knows the learning is endless from the USA.

Cory, like myself, writes about life. His life and life in general. He writes about work. He writes about business and the people in it. He writes about success and failure. In fact, he is one of the more eclectic writers I know.
He is also a good follower and always expresses his point of view in a positive way, even if that involves a boot in the arse. (Canadian for ass)

Unlike the majority of people who call themselves writers, Cory actually is one. He is a former newspaper editor and radio journalist, and he has been working on his own as a freelance writer for 2 years longer than I have.
Cory lives in Ottawa, which as everyone in Canada know is Ground Zero for bullshit here. There are a lot of people in Ottawa who are involved in the business of creating bullshit for the government, but Cory is not one of them.
A while ago, Cory became disgruntled, as all real writers do, with the way his page views (the key to engagement), were being throttled back by the Pretentious and Uncaring (PU) Hamsters of LinkedIn, and even went so far as to quit for a while.
Where have you heard that story before?
But Cory came back, and like the other real writers here, realized that building a following was not something that could be done on any one site. It’s group grope at the best of times. Cory is also becoming very active right here in beBee, because he knows where the action is.
I have always been a big fan of Cory’s work. It’s thoughtful, well-crafted and always a good read. The kind of stuff that makes you think a bit.
