Physical Intelligence - Day 46

Coming back late from a 3D IMAX feature last night did not end up as an exercise in relaxation, instead fully loaded with a movie that flashed and exploded with all sorts of special effects and action, I could not get relaxed enough to sleep and by the time I did it was another 5am sleep time, the very thing I have been focused on avoiding. 

That led to a self-inflicted domino effect, because while I have the option to wake up late, that waking up late and expectation that I will have earlier nights simply squashed the days activity into a much shorter window and so I experienced running from one activity to another and then driving at speed to make time and create an unnecessary pressure by effectively compressing my day.  When I consider that I had not originally intended to go the movie with he kids, the net result was an exercise in what physical intelligence should not be.

It was one thing dealing with pressure that others have imposed upon us, but probably far more par for course that the effects of pressure are the result of our own decisions and actions.  For sure we can become physically intelligent about handling pressure :
