LEICESTER CITY 1 TOTTENHAM 6

That is the score that accompanied a double dose of gym and today was glory, glory, sweet sweat. I was wondering how an end of season game with nothing to play for could live up to any expectations (other than not capitulate to the opposition which is what happened last year).  This year it was the 2015-16 Premier League Champions who capitulated and in so doing brought the curtain down on their fairy tale season last year.  This is gym life at its best, a dynamic performance which is accompanied by what is still rare killer instinct.  It is an instinct that won Chelsea the Championship for 2016-17 this year.

What was most satisfying was seeing FOUR goals from Harry Kane to put him two goals ahead in the scoring for the Golden Boot.  (top premier league scorer) and with Hull to play in the last game and considering he missed a quarter of the season through injury, this is a remarkable performance.  So much so it is funny to see nbcsports artistic depiction of "Harry Kane" :

Log Day 47 - 18th May 2016

Purely by chance. the one success area in my current focus on physical
intelligence has less to do with the physical and more the cognitive

1 had planned to incorporate the public library as an offine equivalent of
online practice - to me a public library today is simply a gigantic physical
internet where we surf with our feet. The problem is that | have been for
months on end obtaining books that simply sit on my shelf. | hardly find the
time to open them. never mind actually read them

The treadmill is something | dread the most because of its pure monotony
ana sometimes even the bliss of distraction using music is not enough. but
this time around | decided to bring a book and engage reading on the
treadmill It turns out that when | get engrossed in a book. an hour can pass
on the treadmill and the only signs that stop the flow is ensuring my body
sweat does not fall onto the book

The chief lesson here Is engaging in what works, rather than a work out. In
seeing that reading acts as a Support mechanism. the new goal is to read at
least one book per week on the treadmill. The key phrasing is “at least”
because If it turns out 10 be 2 books, that is just as good. The caveat for
reading on the treadmill however is still going to be “maintain safety”. there
ts No point in engaging reading only to slip and fall on a treadmill. such slips.
trips and falls are not physical intelligence. they are the antithesis of it

[CityVP Manjit - 18 May 2016 - Physical intelligence]That story ran back in 2015 and holding on to his coat-tails is Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy and the Spanish striker Roberto Soldado whose complete failure as a striker at Spurs paved the introduction and the way for Harry Kane.  Such is soccer that people can make it this irreverent.

Considering that there is slalom of parties that I will be going to this summer, spending valuable hours in the gym was both refreshing physically and a tonic in terms of absolute entertainment value.  Who would have thought that such a game expected to be an end of season snore-draw could be a memorable blow-out, one that is the worst score inflicted to Leicester in the history of playing them and that history goes back a long time.

Of course the one thing that is always a worry is the cheque book size of Real Madrid whose Galacticos mentality will warm with a triple digit million dollar attempt to buy him, as well as Deli Alli - but these are good times for Spurs and even those players who are may seek their fortune elsewhere like what seems the departing Kyle Walker do not really matter - so long one of the Manchester clubs pays $50 million for this defender.  That would be very good business. As for today the business of going to the gym was considerably enhanced with this great end of season performance - and now I look forward to going to the gym on Sunday to see Spurs play at relegated Hull City and cap off what has been an absolutely brilliant season.
