Physical Intelligence - Day 6

Physical Intelligence - Day 6

4c76a910.pngThat I am currently logging first and then going into the gym is good news in one way in that it serves as a motivator and reminder that I should, but that I am logging at 6:30pm means the window I have given myself is narrowed greatly and comes up with things that are easily anticipated in advance, such as our customary special family meal on Friday and then Family entertainment - so the window closes again to another late gym time and completion again by midnight.  That my grandchildren also are over in the weekend is well known to me, so this is a simple fix - only log AFTER the gym session and before 6pm.

Last year it was all about my daughter caring about the state of my health and having me look in better shape for a wedding, this year there is no promise to anyone, only the challenge I put forth and creativity I find in fashioning and shaping the physical intelligence journey ahead.  Right now I hear the calls of the family to dinner, and so I know full well that writing this log is again something I am leaving to the n'th last possible minute.  This is good old procrastination at work and I don't pretend that I can fool myself to overcome it, because I am conscious of that, but what I can do more of is add elements that increase the value of that time.

Reading has been one of those things and I have no less than 3 books as variety to divert my interest.  One of them is a older book by Edward De Bono on creativity, another on Entrepreneurial Strength Finder and the final one the Brain Game by Matthew May.  Ironically, without gym I would not be reading any of these books - so it is that by adding the value of activity to the gym hour brings me to keep on engaging.  Tomorrow is going to much easier because Tottenham play Watford in an early morning kick-off, so that is football and gym combination - which was a winning one on Wednesday afternoon - but that is dependent on the mood generated by the result.

Tausif Mundrawala I stand corrected, I actually do begin sweating at 20 minutes, but today once I got so conscious of the time I could only get to 30 minutes, even though the Matthew May book was actually a good read until then. Tomorrow morning I will make up for it, because I will be on the treadmill for 100 minutes as I watch the early kick off of Tottenham v Watford.
