Today I am revisiting that old saw called "time management". In part because my college toastmasters session on Saturday is primed on leading with that subject but also because it is worth dwelling upon in relationship to physical intelligence.
In another motivational video, this one time compiled to the words of Arnold, the video details that 1 hour for gym is only 4% of our day. It also features Arnold saying that his day is 18 hours with 6 hours of sleep, so that is more closer to 6% of his day, and this does not even factor in time to prepare or even travel to the gym. Not that travel is an issue for me, for in my home it is two flights of stairs from my bedroom. Yet in context of the stat used in this video, it is clear that the actual value add of gym is a small portion of the day, but there is much in the way of non-value add time that is consumed in the preparation and closing rituals, unless that is, taking a shower and wiping down the gym are considered things we can skip to save time on.
