Poor, Misguided White Supremacists

So if this is something that you think might upset your precious sensibilities or political leaning, well have a nice day, ‘cause this isn’t for you.

There are a lot of things that piss me off. But nothing, bar none, pisses me off more than seeing a bunch of white supremacists parading down the street, looking all full of righteous indignation and proclaiming that the white race is superior to just about anything going out there and bitching about how their gene pool is somehow being weakened by intermingling with the ‘lower’ races.

And today, with the incredible number of refugees and asylum seekers there are in the world, this demented racist movement has had new life breathed into it.

Some Stats According to Answers.com

“Of straight European ancestry, there are roughly 800 - 900 million white people out of a population of approximately 6.7 billion. So that gives you a best case percentage of 13.4%.

This is down from approximately 23.4% more than 30 years ago. And over the next 30 years, this number is expected to decrease to around 10%.

As you can see from these numbers, all this insane noise about white supremacy is all being generated by a group that is one of the smallest minorities on the fucking planet.

So I’m really not sure if their fight is all that winnable, since both history and the evolution of world culture is hardly on their side.

Is This Racial Pride Or Bigotry?

I have a feeling it’s the latter. When you think about it, you don’t really see the non-white races all decked out with Tiki torches and hoods and knives and guns marching to protect their race. Certainly other races have wars, and sometimes pretty nasty ones, but these uber right wing white guys are the ones making all the noise. And getting all the press. Hell, they even have a mascot in Washington who refuses to condone the violence they cause. In fact, he pretty much encourages it.

What This Is Really All About

I don’t fucking know. I was taught in school and in the religion that I followed when I was too young to know better, that all people are the children of god.

Not just the white ones. Not just the brown ones. Not just the black ones. Not just the yellow ones. And not just the hybrids that have come about though so called mixed marriages.

These white supremacist movements have never really had much of a history of working out. In fact the Vikings were probably the most successful. But after that it was just a series of attempts at controlling and conquering different non-white cultures that proved, over the long term, to be unsuccessful, and in the case of Hitler’s racism, a complete mess.

This is all a numbers game and only the racists seem to care about it.

The simple fact is that civilization as we know it, likely started in northern Africa. And if you think that was a bunch of whiteys you have my sympathy. Read your fucking history.

They were anything but white. And frankly over the next century, if we last that long, the white race will not even be classified as a visible minority.

So you have to ask yourself where all this righteous white indignation is coming from. It’s certainly not from the point of view if intelligence, or innovation or work ethic or survival instinct or basic cleverness, because everybody has those traits no matter what their race or colour.

Are these pissed-off white people simply stupid enough to be raging against a tide they can do nothing to hold back? Sometimes I think so.

Other times I think it’s the left over vestiges of their slave owning ancestors, which, you have to admit, can leave a hell of an indelible scar on your brain if you’re bent that way and have had this bullshit rammed into your head since you were old enough to understand words.

But no matter how these people came by their bigotry…out of fear or jealousy or some weird sense of entitlement, they are simply fighting a battle that they cannot win.

And that just makes them look like so many rebels without a clue.
