The Ten Intelligences

The Ten Intelligences is not the Ten Commandments.  This is not Moses coming down from the mountain with the word of G-d.  It is a product of emergence and playing with ideas on a board which represents the state of my mind as one likens a balance sheet being a state of accounts at a particular moment in the transaction with time.

A simple comparison between the 21st Edition and the 20th Edition of my Spectraneuron shows how elements are shifted and adapted so these 10 intelligences represent intelligences most pertinent to me in the present moment.  This is an evolving canvas and a continuos work-in-progress because the nature of learning is continuous.

I can now articulate these Ten Intelligences because my participation with BeBee has enabled me to create hives for the 10 colours attributed to these intelligences.   The reasoning for using colour is that the underlying mix can be shaped and reshaped. 

Underneath the 10 intelligences are the CEO's of that Intelligence.  These again are an adaptation and play of the state of where my mind and heart is at in this present juncture.  With each adjustment I can explore my own world with a new frame or a different lens.  I do not want to hard-bake the future state when the joy of living is in the current state - to be fully present.  Future and past are important elements that contribute to my thinking but presence is beauty.

What many people feel comfort in is in being given a formula, a prescription or a means of creating order in their mind through a platitude, a belief or some form of meaning that saves their soul from uncertainty and the discomfort of not knowing and the fear of making mistakes.

I cannot offer these things to people.  I cannot give them a book which they do not already have. and the book we all have is the book of life.  Then there are millions of books which we will not ever open or see, let alone read and being that our world is full of these minds entombed in paper caskets - one can look good either reading the past and regurgitating it or copying someone's image and display this as identity so that others only see a brand.

At this moment in time, I have two choices - as I have changed the Ten Intelligences for the 21st Edition, I can either now go to the individual colour hives and change their individual banners, or I can proceed downstairs and enjoy an early breakfast in my home.  What is the point of exploring any form of intelligence, if I am not intelligent enough to begin my day with a healthy and nourishing breakfast.   This is why "emotional intelligence" is black and not green and white in my present 10i state and why "ethical intelligence" now carries the CEO of "Energy", which was previously apportioned to black-i. 

There is a time to think and I am thinking, but there is also time to eat, and so I now shall.
