    Description

    What you'll be doing

    • Provide quick and effective mediation for employees and leaders dealing with workplace conflicts to reach resolutions and support de-escalation
    • Offer coaching, consultation, and assistance to managers regarding individual employee issues, corrective actions, and performance management
    • Collaborate with employees and managers to address non-medical accommodation requests to promote employee well-being
    • Utilize a wide range of HR knowledge to offer support beyond what can be accessed through Employee Self Service or Manager Self Service (ESS/MSS)

    What we're looking for

    • Bilingual in French and English (both verbal and written)
    • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
    • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, with a preference for those with employee relations background
    • Strong understanding of Employment Standards Act and Canada Labour Code
    • Experience in a high-volume service model
    • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners
    • Ability to make well-informed decisions and take decisive actions
    • Effective problem-solving skills paired with a dedication to customer support
    • Able to work collaboratively with diverse employee groups
    • Experience in conducting workplace investigations is a plus
    • Familiarity with Workday is advantageous
