    Description

    We are looking for a Firmware Designer to join our Hardware team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, and verification designers at all stages of the hardware and firmware development process. You'll have the chance to work with a variety of technical standards and technologies, showcasing your expertise in design, development, performance optimization, and documentation.

    Moreover, you will contribute to researching and defining new technology areas to improve both current and upcoming products.


    Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop system BIOS, firmware, and drivers for Linux systems.
    • Troubleshoot high-speed Ethernet controllers, switches, and PHY chips for network connectivity under Linux systems.
    • Debug faulty hardware using various testing configurations in verification tools.
    • Measure and optimize system performance.

    Required Skills:
    • Experience in firmware development or related field.
    • Understanding of computer hardware, BIOS, Linux, Ethernet, and system design.
    • Familiarity with Linux OS, kernel, driver programming, and debugging tools.
    • Proficiency in C/C++ and experience in assembly language.
    • Background in Intel/AMD x86 embedded processor system architecture.
    • Experience in implementing storage, Ethernet, and peripheral device drivers.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

    Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
