The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for an organized and customer-oriented
Branch Administrator to join our team in
Coquitlam, BC.

As the
Branch Administrator you will be responsible for greeting and directing customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Branch Administrator your key responsibilities will include:

  • Branch reception: answering phone calls, collecting pertinent information, and transferring to the right contact as needed
  • Directing walkin visitors at the Coquitlam branch
  • Coordinating and distributing interoffice mail
  • Supporting with shipping and receiving as needed
  • Ordering and tracking office supply orders, marketing items, and vendor servicing of the branch
  • Tracking invoices, including contacting vendors for Parts and Service Invoices
  • Administering SILK and CRM functions as needed
  • Safety administration and document filing
  • Assist others in the branch with submitting expense claims
  • Arranging branch related activities, and preparing the branch board room for activities such as interviews and training sessions
  • Coordinating quoting for facilities work, including gathering approvals and POs from the Facilities department
  • Managing and reconciling branch petty cash
  • Arranging meals for luncheons as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field
  • Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft programs is required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and SILK
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Highly organized, reliable, and a selfstarter with good time management skills
  • A team player and strong multitasker with a generally positive and pleasant demeanor
  • Ability to speak multiple languages will be considered a valuable asset
