Manager, TI Business Operations


What is the Mandate?

Vendor Management:


  • Maintain oversight on vendor billing and invoices (Coupa and Beeline), ensuring accuracy and timely payment. Develop and maintain an analysis and perspective on the vendor spend / value and facilitate Sr. Management team discussions regarding the connection between deliver roadmaps and timing of vendor engagement
  • Work with key partners within and outside of TI (incl. Finance, Procurement and Third Party Risk, TI Business Management Office) to manage engagement with key vendor partners
  • Manage the approval process flow for all SOWs, and SW contracts (incl. signing process, vendor setup, and the issuance of POs) and ensure the TI's approval process is followed

Financial Management:


  • Maintain a detailed analysis and tracking of costs and ensure that the forecasted spend aligns with the strategies of the team. Working with Finance to ensure that forecasts are transparently and accurately reported and support the annual forecast/planning process
  • Responsible for the monthend accrual process to ensure costs are accurate reflected
  • Accountable for the Cloud Equipment Budget by working with key Sr. Management leads and building out monthly reporting to increase transparency for leadership decisions

Product Owner

  • Work with TI Pillar business office leads and the contract management team to understand requirements and needs for the E-Budget system
  • Work with TI finance and Finance IT to pull together strategy around maintaining and reporting on TI equipment and software
  • Facilitate 2024 Planning process across FY 2024 for TI's Equipment budget to ensure consistency and transparency of records in plan and out of plan
  • Closely track monthly costs out of Ebudget for TI SLT reporting

What are the Skills Required?

Must Haves:


  • Bachelor designation in business
  • Accounting designation in progress or complete (CPA, CGA, CMA)
  • Experience in Finance and Financial tools (EPM, SAP etc.)
  • Ability to analyze complex data sources and distill key information for executive communication
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong relationship with peer groups
  • Extremely collaborative and not afraid to pull up their sleeves for tasks across the group
  • Ability to work in fast paced environments and across many priorities

Nice to Haves:


  • Understanding of procurement processes
  • Strong understanding of RBC financial processes
