- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, and treatment plans during Ophthalmic examinations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Facilitate communication between doctors and patients, answering questions and providing information as needed.
- Coordinate prescription orders as prescribed by the doctors.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration) preferred.
- Medical terminology training and/or understanding.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for spelling and grammar.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
