As the Organizational Effectiveness Advisor, you will be instrumental in how we attract, retain, and grow team members, fostering an environment where engaged and healthy employees can thrive.

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Strategies, this role leads the coordination, delivery, vendor management, and design of ENMAX's leader and employee development framework, and provides consultation to leadership teams on team effectiveness, learning and development, and organizational cultural embedment initiatives.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate talent development programs at all levels to advance employee and leader capabilities, including leadership conferences, mentorship program, custom sessions for intact teams, and ad hoc requests, with the goal of advancing ENMAX's culture and engagement
  • Conduct training administration and coordination of programs including Workday learning administration, training setup, and coordination of educational assistance programs and funding (ex. Canada Alberta Job Grant)
  • Execute on organizational talent development programs including completing the required needs assessment, creating a full project plan, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, program materials, program design, and evaluation
  • Support ENMAX leaders with learning and organizational effectiveness needs including teambuilding and team effectiveness, and training and development
  • Influence transformation of organizational culture, often acting as an informal coach to leadership teams
  • Application of psychometric assessments and diagnostic tools used to support leadership/team development (ex. Gallup's CliftonStrengths)
  • Research and analyze workforce issues and trends in order to identify and recommend bestinclass learning and development strategies and solutions
  • Assist and collaborate with the implementation of corporatewide programs that consider broader human capital practices and ENMAX's organizational needs
  • Evaluate programs to determine return on investment and to drive future initiatives
  • Develop leadership skills through one on one and group coaching engagements with employees

Education Required:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Education, Adult Learning, Human Resources, Leadership, Org Development, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • Additional courses or certifications in change management or coaching (i.e. International Coaching Federation) preferred

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 35 years' experience progressive experience in learning and development, talent management, and/or organizational effectiveness with focus on facilitation, coordination, and executing programs across the talent lifecycle Previous experience facilitating, designing, and executing on Talent Management and/or Learning & Development programs Demonstrated experience coordinating learning programs and managing vendor relationships Experience facilitating psychometric assessments and understanding of Gallup's CliftonStrengths is a strong asset Proven project management skills to manage multiple projects from start to finish while achieving measurable results and impact Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels including field staff and senior executives Ability to design team learning interventions Proficiency with Microsoft products (ex. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Experience working with a HRIS and LMS (preferably Workday) is an asset
