This position can be based out of any of our three offices in Mississauga, Pickering, or Stoney Creek and will be a mix of in-office and work from home.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:

Providing technical CAD support on a variety of projects to support various service lines, including geotechnical investigations, instrumentation & monitoring, hydrogeology, rural servicing, contaminated lands, and ecology
Preparation of General Arrangement, Engineering Detail, and Sectional Detail drawings
Preparation of Geological and Engineering Cross Sections
Preparation of Base Maps, Topographic Maps, Schematic diagrams
Assisting with the creation, conversion and management of various mapping, graphic, and tabular data for internal and external projects
Communications with clients and other EnVision team members to assist with the development and execution of work
Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement
Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment
Supporting Health & Safety programs
Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multidisciplinary projects
Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
3+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD, and a working knowledge of GIS, software packages
A strong understanding of cartographic principles and the ability to effectively communicate complex data on a map
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
Ability to work from home when required and from the office (following Public Health guidance) when required
Ability to, or progression towards, working independently with mínimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to timesensitive issues
