Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and Personal Support Worker - Community Based to join our team.

As a Personal Support Worker - Community Based, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with various needs and disabilities.

Your role will involve helping clients with daily tasks, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • Help with meal preparation and encourage healthy eating habits
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health status
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients

  • Patience and understanding when working with individuals facing challenges

Please note that this position may require occasional evening or weekend shifts, depending on the needs of our clients. Prior experience in a similar role or relevant certifications are preferred but not required.

Salary:
$20.34-$22.00 per hour
