Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure a stable and reliable source of fertilizer materials.
Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining product quality and reliability.
Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and terms.
Cost Analysis:
Conduct cost analysis, market research, and risk assessment to make informed purchasing decisions.
Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal inventory levels, track stock levels, and ensure mínimal stockouts or overstock situations.
Compliance:
Ensure procurement activities comply with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
Sustainability:
Evaluate and implement sustainable sourcing and environmentally responsible procurement practices.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and finance, to align procurement strategies with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or procurement certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in the fertilizer or agriculture industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing supplier relationships, cost reduction, and strategic procurement.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Indepth knowledge of the fertilizer industry, including product specifications and market trends.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problemsolving skills.
- Analytical and datadriven mindset.
- Knowledge of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful procurement projects within the fertilizer industry.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
Pay:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
