Salary Range: $27.81 - $32.24 per Hour

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.25

Anticipated Start Date: June 24, 2024

Job Description: The Finance Clerk is responsible for independently preparing and coordinating all billing activities related to clinic services. Additionally, the Clerk manages physician contracts, overhead payments, analyzes clinic activities, and offers detailed reporting. The Clerk also contributes to system enhancements to support service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Two (2) year diploma or equivalent in Business Administration or Medical Office Administration;
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care billing or financial administration;
Preference for completion of Medical OHIP Billing Course;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Strong attention to detail necessary;
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in complex scenarios;
Effective planning and coordination skills;
Experience with Telus PS Suite electronic medical record is an advantage.
