Home2 Suites by Hilton is looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Supervisor to help lead the Front Office team under the guidance of the Front Office Manager.


Basic Purpose:


Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the role of Front Desk Supervisor will be the ambassador of guest satisfaction, which involves being actively engaged in anticipating & delivering lively guest experiences.

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that exceptional service is provided by problem solving concerns, ensuring communication, and follow up as required with various guests and departments.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service.
  • Assists in welcoming guests upon arrival, obtains valid methods of payment and provides the guest with information on hotel amenities.
  • Provide courteous and efficient telephone services including accurate message taking, delivering and tracking messages, guest mail, packages and other items as requested.
  • Supports upsell and perfect fill strategies while maintaining integrity.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding rates, special packages, and general information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Create reservations via telephone, central/global reservations, correspondence and in person
  • Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and coworkers by maintaining a knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures
  • Support in ensuring Hilton Honors rewards program is promoted, encouraging memberships and follow through on delivery of benefits.
  • Ensure interdepartmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
  • Other projects/duties as assigned and required.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:


  • Ability to use PEP hotel system
  • Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Excellent guest, customer and employee relations skills
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Strong computer & telephone abilities

Working Conditions:


  • Standing, moving, bending
  • Evening, weekends and holiday hours as required

Experience, Training and Education (demonstrating requirements):

  • Minimum 2 years guest service experience
  • Some supervisory experience required
  • Previous HILTON hotel experience is an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
