    Role Responsibilities

    Are you passionate about Early Childhood Education and Development? If so, we have an opportunity for you The Child Care Delivery Division is currently seeking for a Licensing Officer Supervisor to join their team across the province.

    In this role you will provide support, direction and consultation to a team of Licensing Officers and ensure that services are delivered in accordance with accepted practices and guidelines prescribed by Ministerial policies, procedures and legislation.

    Join us and utilize your expertise in collaboration and community engagement to support childcare programs to meet compliance with legislative mandates and standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in the delivery of a strength based approach to enhance quality child care and to meet children's safety, well-being and development.

    As the successful candidate, you will have excellent leadership and supervisory skills, in-depth knowledge of current research on early brain development, child development, best practices, and community resources for children and families. Your strong communication, consultation and organizational skills will be the key to success, as well as your engagement, assessment, and collaboration skills. In addition, knowledge of the Signs of Safety Model will be an asset in this role.
