About This Role:

The incumbent is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of lease accounts for direct and brokered transactions.

The key to this role is to achieve customer satisfaction, fulfill customer requests while minimizing escalations, and facilitate day-to-day business functions while supporting Corporate, Financial and Department goals.

This role works with a high volume of administrative documents related to customer lease and loan agreements. The incumbent conducts timely, effective maintenance of this information while updating, correcting, and maintaining data to ensure accuracy.


The incumbent's primary responsibilities focus on fulfilling the various requests received from customers, vendors and brokers while ensuring accuracy of current contracts found in internal leasing data systems following Meridian's policies and guidelines.


The Leasing Portfolio Representative is also responsible for providing straightforward and knowledgeable service through daily interactions to create a relationship of mutual trust and confidence with customers, vendors, brokers, and fellow employees.

The incumbent works closely with other representatives in their team, as well as, with all other departments.


What You'll Do

Major Accountabilities

  • Meets and supports customers'/vendors'/brokers' requests/requirements by analyzing and rectifying their requests using established procedures.
  • Interprets, responds and followsup clearly and effectively to written or verbal requests while maintaining a suitable response time.
  • Addresses customer needs while balancing those of the company from end to end, except when in collections.
  • Provides buyout/tradeup quotes and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the input and accuracy of customer updates necessary to effect servicing changes to an account.
  • Provides documentation and support for title transfer of vehicles with the provincial ministries at the end of contract.
  • Adheres to guidelines relating to privacy and customer service procedures.
  • Offers valueadd by directing sales opportunities to our Account Managers.
  • Acts as liaison and advocate between customers, internal/external insurance providers, vendors, and brokers to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Actively participates in continuous improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the centralized Customer Service team.

Education/ Work Experience

  • Completion of a postsecondary education program (college or university) or equal work experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft operating systems including Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Edge.
  • This role services customers on a national basis and, therefore, bilingualism in French is preferred.

Office Location:
Toronto Corporate Office, Montreal Corporate Office or Vancouver Corporate. This is a hybrid or remote opportunity
