We are looking for the best Journeyperson Machinist to join our Finning Regina team to dive into the world of CAT equipment

The Journeyperson Machinist will be responsible for working on heavy duty equipment in a service-oriented environment. This position will be on a continuous 7x7 shift based out of our Regina location.

If you are safety conscious, a team player, self-motivated autonomous, detail oriented and possess your Journeyperson Machinist certification or Apprentice with a valid driver's license, then you are who we're looking for

Job Description:


  • Line boring
  • Honing
  • Milling
  • General Lathe work
  • Welding and machining

Qualifications:

  • Interprovincial Machinist Certification or registered apprentice
  • Valid driver's license with a successful recent drivers abstract
  • Boring mill experience would be a major asset (or something more professionally worded)
  • Rottler experience would be a major asset
  • Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Shop experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision

Notes:

  • This position is based out of our Regina facility on a 7x7 continuous shift
  • Must be able and willing to travel to and from customer sites across our territory
  • A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
