Overview

CAA Niagara a not-for-profit organization which provides an ever-expanding variety of products and services to close to 150,000 members in the Niagara Region.

Our mission is to deliver rewarding experiences to enhance the lives of our members and our community by being a road safety advocate, a trusted partner and an employer of choice.

Headquartered in Thorold, the organization also has offices in St. Catharines, Grimsby, Niagara Falls and Welland.
Expected Commitment

The initial threeyear term will begin in 2023 with eligibility to be nominated for reelection for up to three successive terms of three years each a total 12year commitment.
As a Director, you will be expected to commit time to serve on the Board, attending up to five Board meetings each year in addition to Board committee meetings and strategic planning or Board development sessions.
Meetings may be either inperson or virtual.
Remuneration is a small stipend for service, aligned with other similar organizations; outofpocket and travel expenses to perform Board duties are also covered.

Qualifications:

Personal commitment to devote the time necessary to perform the responsibilities of a Board member.
Respectful communicator with a collaborative mindset and a bias toward learning.
Basic financial literacy and previous senior leadership experience.
A member of CAA Niagara with residence in the Niagara Region.
