How you'll make a difference:

Prepare and review year end Compilation and Corporate tax engagements.
Prepare and review T1 Personal income tax returns.
Prepare and review tax slips including T4, T4A, T5 etc;
Recognize and address client requirements, offering outstanding service and guidance.
Assist with business management for entertainment clients as needed including day to day accounting, tour accounting, budget and payroll work, and tax guidance for Canadian and international touring artists;
Aid in client relations management, cultivating strong connections and exploring business growth avenues within the industry;
Mentor, train, and supervise junior and intermediate staff members.

Who you are:

You are a seasoned CPA within a public practice firm, catering specifically to Private Enterprise clients.
Your expertise lies in Canadian tax preparation, covering a wide range of filings including personal and corporate tax returns, as well as various essential documents like trust returns and tax elections.
Proficient in industrystandard software such as CaseWare and Taxprep
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero an asset
