    The Manager, Portfolio collaborates with various teams to improve project intake and demand management processes by identifying areas for enhancement, implementing recommendations, and devising action plans.

    This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Iterative project portfolio status reporting standards, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    The incumbent also oversees the reporting of essential portfolio metrics to Leadership, including budget health, schedule health, major risks and mitigation strategies, new project intake rates, ongoing initiatives, and resource allocation.

    Moreover, the role focuses on governance solutions to ensure portfolio quality, project prioritization, and resource alignment across initiatives.

    They manage the project portfolio organization-wide to ensure alignment across Facility Management and enhance the successful execution of Iterative initiatives.

    • Create a collaborative partnership with portfolio stakeholders for effective resource demand planning, initiative alignment, and project pipeline decisions.
    • Work closely with Finance and the project team to establish processes and governance to support project intake.
    • Provide support to the project team through regular Gating discussions to ensure adherence to Project Management Office (PMO) methodology.
    • Develop and implement a project and program auditing strategy to monitor trends, communicate to steering committees, and mitigate risks.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to define a vision and development strategy.
    • Focus on instilling a culture of continuous improvement.

    This role features standard office working conditions with a typical Monday to Friday schedule. Requirements include a minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management planning or project management, 3 to 5 years in a management role with direct reports, proficiency in project and portfolio management tools, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management Professional (PMP) and SAFe Certification, and familiarity with best practices in project and portfolio management.

    Fluency in both written and verbal English and French is essential, along with knowledge of systems like building HVAC, Compressed Air Systems, DDC commissioning practices, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
