    We are looking for a HSE Program Coordinator to support our Health, Safety and Environment Branch (HSE). The HSE Program Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

    The Program Coordinator ensures the effective delivery of corporate health, safety and/or environmental programs by administering and coordinating program activities. The Program Coordinator will develop & maintain related processes, ensure timely reporting and support the implementation of the program to clients through HSE employees and/or local COSH committees.

    Screening Criteria

    Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:

    Education

    Secondary school diploma according to provincial standards.

    Post-secondary education and training in a relevant field (for ex.: administration, health & safety, environment, project management) may be considered an asset .

    Experience

  • Experience in developing procedures, processes and tools related to the administration and operations of programs.
  • Experience in administering and coordinating multiple program activities simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Experience in building cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using MS Office suite of tools and collaboration tools.

    • Experience in the following may be considered as assets but not required :

  • Experience working within the Federal Government of Canada.
  • Experience working in the field of health, safety and environment.

  • Ability to implement new processes, methods, and tools to continuously improve on national programs.
  • Ability to understand and analyze program data to develop meaningful reports and provide sound and coherent interpretations.
  • Ability to provide information, explain processes and answer queries clearly and completely.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and coordinate multiple activities while maintaining appropriate records.
  • Ability identifying risks and developing associated plans to address potential issues.

    Compensation

    From $60,143 to $70,963 per annum.

    In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
