- Assist in developing, updating, and testing system configuration, changes, and related documentation.
- Develop, document, and/or utilize systems and processes for collecting, analyzing, presenting, and reporting information related to processes, contracts, and work program accomplishment.
- Assist in discussions, problem-solving, and issue resolution regarding process or system changes or user issues.
- Participate in interpreting and assessing organizational performance related to the execution of work programs, focusing on the effectiveness of business processes and the successful adaptation of software tools and data systems.
- Provide advice and direction on contracts, processes, reporting, system changes, and related activities.
- Assist in developing training and communication requirements for various business operations processes.
- Assist with developing and delivering presentations to audiences associated with technical and operational processes.
- Perform other necessary duties.
- Travel may be required.
- Requires knowledge of computerized information systems and business administration to develop and/or utilize systems and processes for analyzing, presenting, and reporting information.
- Requires a sound understanding of theories and principles related to business methods, operations, change management techniques, and computerized applications in a modern business environment.
- Requires a good grasp of technical terms used in the distribution business.
- Requires knowledge of contracts, design standards, and analytical techniques to analyze information and provide advice to Network Services staff.
- Typically obtained through 4 years of University training.
- Requires experience in the distribution/transmission business to understand the technical aspects, policies, practices, systems, and processes.
- Needs practical knowledge of daily technical and operational processes in both head office and field organization.
- Must have experience in issue resolution techniques.
- Should have experience working effectively with diverse people and the ability to work independently.
- Needs to handle multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Requires some experience in monitoring organizational performance, using diagnostic tools, and participating in change management initiatives.
- Applies knowledge, judgment, and past practice to make decisions and solve problems.
- Requires proficiency in English, including written and verbal communication skills, to prepare correspondence, assist in discussions, interact with customers, and deliver presentations effectively.
- A period of 4 to 6 years is necessary to gain this experience.
